Of the 150 types of plants that are written about in the Man'yoshu, 140 types of plants have been transplanted and grown wild in the parks around the town hall. The original poems that sing about the plants are displayed on signboards. This place is also famous as a hydrangea spot, with 6,000 hydrangeas in full bloom.
