Explanatory text

This shrine enshrines Sarutahiko-no-Okami and is said to grant blessings for matchmaking, marital harmony, road safety, etc. The Meoto Iwa Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple) visible in front serve as a torii gate for worshiping the Okitama Jinseki, a rock associated with Sarutahiko-no-Okami that lies about 700m offshore.
