Explanatory text
This shrine enshrines the guiding god Sarutahiko-no-Okami, and is said to grant good fortune, safety in the home and on the roads, and good luck in finding Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple) and a happy marriage, as symbolized by the Meoto Iwa rocks. Since ancient times, it has been a place of purification where people can purify themselves before making a pilgrimage to Ise Shrine, and is worshipped as a god of resurrection due to its divine power that purifies the soul and guides and revives. This shrine is a place to worship the Meoto Iwa Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple), the sacred stone "Okitama Jinseki" associated with Sarutahiko-no-Okami that lies in the sea beyond, and the morning sun that shines and rises from the ocean.
