Explanatory text

The remains of the samurai residence, which still retain the samurai architectural style of the Edo period, are the Nagayamon gate and storehouse of the Kato family, chief retainer of the Ishikawa clan of Kameyama Domain, and are located in the Nishinomaru area of the castle.
