Explanatory text
MotooriNorinaga lived from the age of 12 until his death. It is designated as a special national historic site. It was moved to the site of the Ninomaru bailey of Matsusaka Castle in 1909. It is a wooden one-story building with some parts being two stories. The tour takes 15 minutes. (Photo taken in autumn 2009)
