Explanatory text
This old inn was built 120 years ago. From the Meiji to Showa periods, it was a valuable place of exchange across Ikesaka Pass. It has now been slightly renovated, and while retaining its old atmosphere, you can enjoy the experience of using it as the base of operations for the "Society for the Protection of the Satoyama of Shimokawachi."
