What is F1 Japan Grand Prix?

The F1 Japanese Grand Prix is a race that attracts attention from motorsports fans all over the world.

The event is usually held around autumn, but this year free practice will be held on Friday, April 5th and Saturday, April 6th, qualifying on Saturday, April 6th, and the final on Sunday, April 7th.

Until now, the F1 Japan Grand Prix race has been held around autumn, but by streamlining the schedule of F1 events held around the world and minimizing the movement of people and goods, we are reducing the greenhouse effect. The event was moved to spring for the first time as part of efforts to achieve carbon neutrality, which aims to reduce gas emissions.

In this article, we will thoroughly explain the F1 Japan Grand Prix 2024. Be sure to check out the F1 Japanese Grand Prix's featured players, event information, access information about the venue, SuzukaCircuit, as well as information on sightseeing spots and gourmet food around SuzukaCircuit!

If you are going to come to Mie, why not enjoy it to the fullest?

About tickets for F1 Japan Grand Prix 2024

Featured players for F1 Japanese Grand Prix 2024

Here we introduce the noteworthy drivers of the F1 Japanese Grand Prix 2024! If you are a motorsport fan, you may already know, but this is just a refresher. If you are going to watch for the first time, be sure to check it out!

①Japanese players

As a Japanese athlete, Yuki Tsunoda (Visa Cash Up RB), who graduated from SuzukaCircuit Racing School in 2016, will be participating again this year! He finished 7th at the most recent Australian Grand Prix, and is expected to repeat his winning streak at the Japanese Grand Prix. Let's look forward to the success of this young driver who is attracting attention not only from Japan but also from around the world!

② Champion Red Bull

Last season, Max Verstappen (Red Bull) recorded the most wins in F1 history with 19 wins in a year, including 10 consecutive wins, as well as one win at Suzuka, and is expected to be overwhelmingly strong this season as well. Most likely candidate. Sergio Perez (Red Bull), who is in second place this year, also won two races last season, and with Red Bull winning 21 out of 22 races, there are great expectations that one of these two will win.

③ Pay attention to legendary players

In addition to the success of young drivers, it is also important to pay attention to the legends.
Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), who finished third last season and won five times at Suzuka, will be moving to Ferrari next season, so this will be his last year with the current team. Also, keep an eye on the race of Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin), who finished 4th this year and is a two-time F1 champion.

About the event

At SuzukaCircuit, there will be special events such as talk shows by drivers and guests and merchandise sales to coincide with the F1 Japanese Grand Prix. We have compiled a list of events on the day of the tournament, so be sure to check it out if you are going to watch the race!
