1. What kind of facility is “Ise Shima Everglades”?

Japan's first glamping facility

Ise-Shima Everglades joined KOA (Kampground of America), the largest campground chain in America, and was founded as KOA Shima Isobe Campground in 1994, and in 2014 it introduced full-scale glamping facilities.
Ise-Shima Everglades is said to be the first to introduce a full-scale glamping facility in Japan!

There are 3 glamping sites in Ise Shima Everglades, each with a fire deck where you can enjoy a bonfire by the water and a private canoe!
In addition, you can enjoy a truly glamorous camping experience​, with air-conditioned rooms that are comfortable and air-conditioned, and BBQ that is slowly grilled on an authentic American gas grill.​

There are also plenty of facilities other than glamping!

On the vast grounds, there are various facilities and equipment such as glamping sites, cabin-type sites, sites where you can pitch a tent, a dog run, and a pool.
Another appeal of Ise-Shima Everglades is that you can spend your time in a variety of ways.

Origin of the name “Ise-Shima Everglades”

Ise-Shima Everglades is located in Ise-Shima National Park, adjacent to a wetland created by the clear stream "Ikeda River" that flows from the forest of IseJingu.
The wetland is inhabited by aquatic creatures such as killifish and dragonflies, as well as over 50 types of wild birds, and is said to be famous as one of the prefecture's most visited areas for migratory birds.

The name comes from the American national park.

By the way, the facility's name comes from Everglades National Park in Florida, United States.
It seems that the natural environments of the Ise-Shima Everglades and Everglades National Park have many things in common.

Furthermore, Everglades National Park has been registered as a World Heritage Site, and various efforts are being made to protect the natural environment.
The name ``Ise-Shima Everglades'' was chosen to reflect the desire to ``contribute to the protection of the natural environment in Ise-Shima.''

2. Glamping site “Karibu”

Comes with a private canoe! Spend quality time in a spacious space

There are three glamping sites, each with a private canoe.
The wetland area in front of the glamping site is divided into sections, allowing you to enjoy private canoeing in your own "field"!

In addition, one of the three glamping sites, ``Karibu'' (the one in the photo), is characterized by the largest area of indoor and outdoor living among the three buildings.
Enjoy the feeling of openness in a spacious and spacious space.

In the outdoor living room, you can enjoy cooking, eating, bonfire, bathing, etc. while looking out at the wetland that spreads out in front of you.
There is also a hammock installed, so you can enjoy a relaxing nap while enjoying the outside air♪

During the winter, a table heater with heat retention function is installed in the outdoor living room.
It's great to be able to enjoy outdoor experiences while staying warm during the cold months!

indoor living room

The indoor living room is equipped with a spacious sofa bed and a stylish canopy bed.

When you go camping, you will need to provide your own bedding and daily necessities.
However, in the case of glamping, you don't need to prepare bedding because the accommodation facilities are similar to those in a hotel!

Ise Shima Everglades glamping sites are fully equipped with air conditioning, heating, toilets, showers, hair dryers, dressers, towels, and amenities.
I'm so grateful that I can enjoy it comfortably even if I come empty-handed!

*Among the glamping sites, Jellyfish does not have water facilities.
(A 7.5L water jug is installed for drinking water. You can use the toilet and bath located outside the site.)

3. Enjoy the rich nature! "Canadian Canoe"

If you want to enjoy the rich nature of Ise-Shima National Park, Canadian canoeing is recommended!

When using glamping, each site comes with a private canoe, so you can enjoy canoeing as many times as you like until sunset without any additional fees.​

Non-glamping facility users can use the canoe for 2,000 yen including tax per hour.
We also have pedal boards (1,000 yen including tax for 30 minutes) that allow you to enjoy walking on the water more easily than canoeing!

Enjoy an adventurous paddle through a 1.2-mile (approximately 1.9 kilometer) maze-like wetland.
If you're lucky, you might even get a chance to see wild birds floating on the water's edge.

4. Authentic taste! "American Grand Becue"

One of the joys of glamping is the luxurious meals!
Just arranging the ingredients is exciting ♪ My heart is pounding!

Thick and juicy ribeye steak (approximately 450g for 2 people) is lined with luxurious ingredients such as sausages, giant clams, and large clams.
Other ingredients include green peppers, shiitake mushrooms, tomatoes, and French bread! Everything looks delicious.

Seasonings include rock salt, black pepper, olive oil, green butter made with garlic, parsley, and butter, rich basil sauce, and other items that make the ingredients delicious!

Dessert was orange and s'mores (roasted marshmallows).
The s'mores will be roasted over a bonfire until golden brown.

Cook easily with a gas grill and hot water sink!

The glamping site is equipped with a gas grill, which is essential for authentic American-style BBQ.
Weber's gas grill from America is an excellent product that can be easily lit with the touch of a button.

Additionally, hot water comes out of the sink installed in the outdoor living room, so you won't have to worry about cooking even in winter.

Attractive option menu! T-bone steak set

Ribeye steak can be replaced with T-bone steak! (Can be ordered in units of 2 servings (approximately 500g): 1,020 yen including tax)
​T-bone steak is a bone-in steak that allows you to enjoy two parts at the same time: the juicy sirloin, which is the most suitable part for steak, and the tender and elegantly flavored fillet.​

​In addition, you can change the menu to suit your tastes, such as the one-pound Japanese sirloin steak set (1 serving (approx. 225g), 1,320 yen including tax), and the fatty fatty tuna steak set using Albacore tuna from Mie Prefecture (changes can be made for free). Masu!

The BBQ set comes with recipes to make each ingredient delicious.
The recipe includes detailed instructions such as heating time and when to add seasonings, so anyone can easily cook it!
It would be fun to have fun cooking with family, friends, and lovers.

5. Enjoy Ise-Shima Everglades in your own way

Ise-Shima Everglades also has a lot of areas that you can enjoy with your pet!

In addition to the site where you can stay with your pet, there is a vast dog run of approximately 800 square meters (use fee: 900 yen including tax).
The dog run is divided into areas for large dogs and small dogs.
There is a shower for pets, so you can play with them to your heart's content without worrying about getting them dirty!

"Pool" where you can enjoy water play and tent sauna

There is even a swimming pool on the premises of Ise Shima Everglades!

The entire poolside is finished with a wooden deck, so your feet won't slip, so even small children can use it with confidence.
The ``toto'' experience in the tent sauna is also attractive.
The fee is 500 yen (tax included) per person in the pool (free for children under 3 years old) and 8,000 yen (tax included) per tent sauna site.
