What is Toba Marine Terminal?

Toba Marine Terminal is a facility where regular boats and sightseeing boats depart and arrive at Toba's remote islands such as Toshi Island and Iruka Island.

The appearance is inspired by a pearl necklace, and the curved design is distinctive.

The nearest station is Toba Station on the JR and Kintetsu lines, and there are many parking lots nearby, making it an easily accessible location.

The building includes a ticket office and waiting area, as well as a community lounge and the Toba Visitor Center.

The photo above shows the Toba Visitor Center on the 1st floor, where tourist pamphlets for the Ise-Shima area are distributed free of charge.

We also distribute walking maps for Toshijima and Kamishima, so there is plenty of useful information for those planning a trip to Toba's remote islands.

There is a coffee shop in the community lounge on the second floor, where you can order snacks and drinks.

At the time of our interview, we ordered Ise-Udon and spent the time waiting to board the ship overlooking Toba Bay from a table seat by the window.

You can relax while enjoying your meal, so please try using it when traveling or visiting remote islands.

Outside, there is a green park called "Kamome Hiroba" where you can take a stroll while looking out at the sea and the port.

In this article, we will explain in detail how to access Toba Marine Terminal, parking, boat fees, and how to board.

There are several paid parking lots around Toba Marine Terminal, and the closest ones are "Sadahama Parking Lot 1" and "Sadahama Parking Lot 3."

Both are open 24 hours a day and have good access, being just a few minutes walk from Toba Marine Terminal.

Sadahama Parking Lot 1

This is Sadahama Parking Lot No. 1, which has a large capacity of 160 spaces, but since there are popular tourist spots such as Toba Marche and Toba Ichibangai in the surrounding area, it is a parking lot that is often used even on weekdays.
