It's summer! It's SUP! ! It's Miyagawa! ! !

掲載日:2021.06.30

"Miyagawa" is a first-class river that flows through the southern part of Mie Prefecture. . .
It has been ranked first in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's first-class river water quality survey for the past 11 times, making it a genuine "clear stream"! ! ! This time, we will introduce Miyagawa in the ASOBISIA style! Once you visit, everyone will definitely be addicted to it! How about relaxing at Miyagawa this summer?

◆Article creation: ASOBISIA

A trio of close friends who love the outdoors. Normally, he struggles as a Japanese office worker and faces the turbulent waves of society. In October 2020, he formed ASOBISIA after climbing a mountain one day, and opened Instagram and YouTube. On Instagram, his SUP photo in Miyagawa ranked first in the 2020 "Likes" ranking for Mie Tourism. This is a fledgling and active group.

Access to Miyagawa

■Parking lot used by ASOBISIA

Sakura no SatoPark (Honda Kiya, Odai-machi, Taki-gun, hondagoya OdaiTown)

Approximately 15 minutes by car from Kisei Expressway Omiya Odai IC

I think there are various access points to Miyagawa, but ASOBISIAuses Sakura no Sato Park!Approximately 10 cars can be parked and there is a gentle slope leading to the river, making it easy to enter the water with your SUP!

■Notes

If you want to enter the Miyagawa River from Sakura no Sato Park, you will definitely need a SUP, kayak, or boat! It is very dangerous to swim there as it is quite a distance from where you can reach! be careful! ! !

The photo above was taken when I went SUP in Miyagawa last year, and it was ranked number 1 in the 2020 "Like" ranking on Kanko Mie's Instagram! It's an important photo that was a big trigger for us, so much so that I can say, "I'm able to write this article because of this photo!" Please take a look! It's like floating on a river! You can take photos in Mie Prefecture that look like they were taken overseas! ! The river is so beautiful that the sunlight shines through it☆

#100% transparency

Speaking of Miyagawa's characteristics, it is this highest transparency!Too beautiful. . . threeThere is such a beautiful river in Shige! (I'm glad I live in Mie! Lol) Park your car at Sakura no Sato Park and prepare, then set sail and head upstream of the Miyagawa River to find a spot with high transparency! a bit It's a long distance, but don't get discouraged and have fun rowing! !(lol) Worshiping this beautiful river will blow away your fatigue!

This transparency. . . Miyagawa is incredible! ! ! (lol)

On days when you can have the sun on your side, you'll definitely be able to take lots of photos that you'll want to show off to someone!

It was so beautiful that I couldn't help but jump into it. (LOL)It's highly transparent, so you can capture even your facial expressions as a memento even in the water! In the next life, if I were to be reborn as a fish, I would like to be born in Miyagawa...lol

#Jungle Cruise

Miyagawa surrounded by forest and reflecting! ! ! It smells like adventure! The photo (next photo) where you are passing through a forest looks like you are passing through a jungle, and I thought, ``This doesn't look like Japan!'' ” It was such a valuable experience that I could hear my heart say “!” Miyagawa River is one of the best rivers in Japan where you can have extraordinary experiences like this!

With Miyagawa, you can take pictures that are full of adventure like this! I can't stop being excited! I wonder what kind of creatures I will meet today! ?

#Decisive moment! Nose plugs are a must!?LOL

When you see such a beautiful and wide river, you can't help but want to jump into ASOBISIA. Make sure to plug your nose (self-smile), raise your hands, and jump! I went all out and enjoyed Miyagawa in summer! There are many diving spots in Miyagawa! Please be careful when jumping in and enjoy the great nature of Mie with your whole body(^^

Hyaaaaaaaaaaaaa! ! !

#Legendary big fish!? (lol)

It is said that over 90 types of fish live in Miyagawa! It is only because of the transparency of the Miyagawa River that you can take clear pictures of the fish! You can see schools of fish as a matter of course!

■Introducing ASOBISIA's beautiful items

All ASOBISIA members own GoPros! ! !This time we will introduce some of the GoPro items that our members always use! Please take some great photos at Miyagawa for reference!

①El Grande

"El Grande" is a pole that extends up to 97cm! By taking advantage of its length, you can capture a wider field of view! With a hand-held camera, it is often difficult to capture both people and scenery in a beautiful angle of view, but with El Grande, anyone can easily take great photos of people and scenery! In addition to SUP, it is also useful for snowboarding, mountain climbing, and sightseeing! This is the GoPro accessory that ASOBISIA uses the most!

#EleganceTime On The River

Spending time on the Miyagawa River, said to be the clearest stream in Japan, is a supreme moment that only those who visit can experience. The river's flow is calm, so relaxing on the SUP makes you feel sleepy...zzz. Oops, you're so relaxed that you're showing your off-mode side! lol I would like everyone to experience this elegant time that can only be found in Miyagawa!

Thanks to the long pole, you can also take a photo of the person holding the pole!

②Tripod clip for cap

``Tripod clip for cap'' is a tool to attach GoPro to the tip of the cap! This time I tried attaching it to the tip of the paddle! (lol)

If you take a selfie with a paddle instead of a regular pole, it will look even better! You can also take POV shots (subjective photos) by attaching it to your hat!

③Dome port

"Dome Port" is a special item that allows you to take pictures both underwater and above the water at the same time! !This is a must-have item for those who enjoy going to the river or the sea in the summer! As you can see from this photo, you can take the best photos! The problem is that it's a little big and gets in the way, but... (lol)If it's for the sake of looking good, there's no compromise! ! !

#Enjoy the summer traditions!

On the way to Sakura no Sato Park via Prefectural Route 31 from the Odai Police Station area, there was a spot on the left hand side where many sunflowers were blooming! (Okuiseko Rowing Course)
*Photo taken around the end of June last year

It seems that about 3,000 sunflowers have been planted this year as well as last year! The best time to see them seems to last until around July 10th.

Summer has arrived when I see sunflowers! That's what I feel! They made our summer even more exciting beforeSUP!

#Sunflower field

The sunflowers lined up neatly all over the place were photogenic!

You can get a lot of solar power from a field of sunflowers!

Let's pray for clear skies when we visit so we can see the sunflowers!

#Miyagawa in winter too

Why not enjoy Miyagawa not only by SUP but also by kayak? If you have a kayak, you can enjoy Miyagawa even in winter! There are fewer people than in the summer, so you can take as many great photos as you like! If you fall into the river, your body will freeze, so don't forget to wear a life jacket! !

I also post videos on YouTube ↓

If you don't have a SUP or kayak, don't worry! ! Verde Odai (Verde Odai Tourism) also holds trial tours!

Thank you for reading the article to the end.I would be happy if the goodness of Miyagawa could be conveyed even a little! Let's go to Miyagawa this summer and be healed!

Next time, we will be publishing an article that touches on another clear stream in Mie, the Choshi River, which competes with the Miya River!
looking forward to! ! !

The mountain trail closure will be lifted from Friday, September 8, 2023. An unexplored region remaining in the upper reaches of the Miyagawa River. The valley is filled with rapids, cliffs, and hundreds of waterfalls. Although it is a dense area of primeval forest, there are also walkways and suspension bridges. However, it is not possible to complete the entire course in a day, and the path is steep, so it is recommended for intermediate and advanced climbers. There are 7 waterfalls and 11 suspension bridges along the mountain trail, and the dynamic nature spreads out. It has been selected as one of Japan's three major valleys and one of Japan's top 100 unexplored regions. The mountain trail, which was closed due to the disaster in 2004, has been reopened and is now passable since the opening of the mountain in 2014. It has the only official rowing course in the prefecture, and various competitions are held there. Every year on the last Sunday of August, a community-level regatta called the ``Water Carnival'' is held, and many crews from within and outside the prefecture gather to deepen interactions.
