Ueno Park retains a rich historical atmosphere. Inside the park, there are many famous and historic sites such as Ueno Castle, the Haiku Shrine, and the Ninja House, as well as the seasonal scenery.
It is a bustling center of Iga-Ueno tourism and a place for residents to relax. It is also famous for its beautiful cherry blossoms that bloom in April.

Many living things live in the 52ha park, and you can observe trees, wildflowers, insects, wild birds, and mushrooms throughout the year. The indoor facilities include an exhibition room and a training room, which are free to use (advance application required), and events related to nature are held every month.

A third-class official stadium with an area of 2,000 square meters and a seating capacity of 4,500 spectators.
Soccer competitions are possible within the field. There is also a park with playground equipment in the back, and the autumn leaves are beautiful. You can also hear the voices of wild birds throughout the four seasons.

On the western edge of the castle town, the intersection where Nara Kaido and the road to Oda Arai intersect is called Kagiya Tsuji. There is a signpost inscribed in 1828 that reads ``Migiisemichi Hidari Nara Michi'', and ``Kasuma Chaya'' in the park is a quaint teahouse where Kazuma Watanabe and Mataemon Araki's party This teahouse is a reproduction of the Yorozuya where people would stop by before seeking revenge and lie in wait for their enemies.
In the summer, it is a relaxing place where you can forget the heat and enjoy the cool breeze.

This is one of Kansai's most famous azalea kachiji, with azaleas in full bloom in May over an area of approximately 8 hectares. The vast lawn area of approximately 2 hectares is a place for recreation, and many people come for hiking as it serves as a base for the Tokai Nature Trail.
Designated as a special area of Suzuka Quasi-National Park on July 22, 1961, cherry blossoms, mountain maples, Japanese clover, and other trees are planted in the park, which can be enjoyed throughout the four seasons. In addition, promenades and facilities have been developed, and a steam locomotive (D51-831) is on display in the south corner of the park.

It is located in a location blessed with a panoramic view of IgaCity Old Ueno Street, and as you follow the path inside the park, you will be greeted by trees and flowers that decorate the four seasons, as well as a monument with a haiku written by Basho.
There is a fairly steep slope from the parking lot to the park. Bamboo canes are available near the parking lot entrance sign. You are free to use it.

Above Manjuji Temple, this park is paved with stones and planted with trees on the site of the castle of Fukuchi Iyo no kami, which is connected to the Matsuo family. A monument to Basho's birth was erected in the park to mark the 200th anniversary of his death, reminding us of the haiku master's past. There is a monument with the haiku ``Kogo and the umbilical cord to cry'' in the park.

There is a ``campground'' where you can participate in a wide range of outdoor activities, ``Experience Learning Hill'' where parents and children can enjoy playing equipment such as ninja training, and ``Miharashi no Oka'' where you can overlook the park.
There is also a 118m long suspension bridge called Iwakurakyo Shian Bridge.
Along the Kizugawa River, there is a ``Kawabe no Michi'' along the way that includes the site of the former Iwakura Hydroelectric Power Plant, where the remains of the waterway remain. In autumn, the autumn leaves are wonderful and beautiful. This road also connects to Shimagahara Onsen and Butcha-no-Yu.

Mori Kaikan is an information center for the hometown forest. There is a multipurpose meeting room, training room, and creative room, which can be used for small group recreation.

Hotaru no Furusato Park is an observation deck in the Tanese village surrounded by tanao nature. The surrounding area is known as the ``firefly village'' and you can see many fireflies flying in June.
Every year in early June, the area is crowded with people as part of Firefly Viewing Week, and a firefly festival is also held here, which entertains people as a summer night tradition.
