Along with the "Illuminations" being held at the same time, you can enjoy both the beautiful flowers during the day and the illuminations at night. The weeping plum blossoms are illuminated at night.

Cherry blossoms are loved by many people in spring. At Akatsuka Botanical Garden's satoyama "Red Hill Heather Forest," about 20 varieties are planted throughout the park. From early blooming Kawazu cherry blossoms to Someiyoshino cherry trees, double blooming shogetsu and kanzan, etc. They bloom one after another from mid-March to April. You can also see unusual cherry blossoms such as the turmeric cherry tree, which has yellow petals, and the pale green goikou cherry tree.

Cherry blossoms are planted in various parts of the shrine, including UjibashiBridge area of Naiku.
There are a wide variety of cherry blossoms, including Someiyoshino, Yamazakura, and Edohigan, and each has its own peak viewing period, so you can enjoy Ise's cherry blossoms for a long time.

The cherry blossoms along the historic Miyagawa River have been affectionately known as "Sakura no Watari" since the Edo period and have been designated as kachiji by the prefecture. There is a row of cherry blossom trees along the river for about 1 km.
It has been selected as one of Japan's top 100 cherry blossom viewing spots by the Japan Cherry Blossom Association, and during the period, the cherry blossom trees are illuminated with lanterns and lanterns. In the past and even today, many people visit as the season approaches.
There are also stalls, so you can enjoy a lively cherry blossom viewing experience.

Ueno Park, the symbol of which is Iga Ueno Castle, a chalk white castle with steep stone walls as high as 30 meters, is in full bloom with about 800 Yoshino cherry trees, creating a beautiful sight that looks as if the castle is covered in mist.

The cherry blossoms at LakeShorenji are about 600 cherry trees that brightly color the area around the lake. The best time to see cherry blossoms is usually around late March. If you go a little further, we recommend picking strawberries, a taste of spring, at Shorenji Tourist Village.
In addition to viewing the cherry blossoms, be sure to also visit LakeShorenji Tourist Village.

``Yokowazakura'' has petals that are 2 to 3 times the size of Yoshino cherry trees. Because it only exists in yokowacho in Japan, it is called "Yokowa-zakura" in this area. yokowacho is dyed pink during the cherry blossom season.

The park, which has a total area of 12 hectares, includes a bright green lawn, a children's play area filled with fun play equipment, and a row of cherry blossom trees that are crowded with cherry blossom viewing visitors in the spring. This annual spring festival is held when the cherry blossoms in the park are in full bloom. In addition to stage shows, there are many events that can be enjoyed by both children and adults, such as selling special products and throwing rice cakes! "Taioji Nawate Cherry Blossom Festival" is held along the old Tokaido in KameyamaCity. The sight of the cherry blossoms blooming along the Tokaido along the Suzuka River turning into a tunnel is a sight to behold!

A classic cherry blossom spot in Yokkaichi. Approximately 600 cherry blossom trees line both banks of the Jushikawa River for approximately 1.2 km, and the feature is that the right bank can be used for banquets, and the left bank can be used for walks.

The row of cherry blossom trees on the grounds of the Asahi Kasei Chemicals Suzuka Factory is open to the public during the cherry blossom season, and anyone can view them.
Around 300 cherry trees, including the cherry blossom tunnel, will be in full bloom all at once around the grounds, making it a great place to spread out your lunch and enjoy a picnic with the kids.

Kumano-zakuracherrytree is a new species of cherry tree discovered for the first time in about 100 years. It blooms earlier than Sakiyamazakura and Someiyoshino, and the best time to see it is generally from February to March.
It grows wild in the mountainous areas of the southern half of the Kii Peninsula.

Takehara's light blue cherry tree is a single cherry tree. Since it is a different variety from Someiyoshino, it blooms about a week earlier, and the thickness of the trunk and shape of the flowers are also different.
