“Mijumaru Pouch Ise Katagami Dyeing Experience” has started!
Mie Prefecture and the Pokémon Company entered into a comprehensive partnership agreement on December 21, 2021, with the aim of revitalizing the prefecture. Utilizing the Pokémon Co., Ltd.'s "Pokémon Local Acts" initiative, we are carrying out various initiatives together with "Mijumaru", who has been appointed as a Mie Support Pokémon.
As part of this initiative, a new menu will be launched at SuzukaCity Traditional Industry Hall, where visitors can experience Ise Katagami dyeing with a Mijumaru design, with the aim of increasing awareness and conveying the appeal of Ise Katagami, a traditional craft designated by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry in Mie Prefecture.

You can experience dyeing using Ise katagami to color patterns on pouches at Mijumaru Design. (Advance reservation required)
