End of operation of Kintetsu "Mijumaru Train" (Updated June 28, 2024)

Posted on June 12, 2024 (Updated June 28, 2024)

The Mijumaru Train, a decorated train currently running between Kintetsu Isenakagawa Station and Kashikojima Station, will cease operation on Thursday, July 18, 2024. With the end of operation, the Mijumaru Train's face-in photo panels installed at Toba Station and Kashikojima Station will also cease operation on the same day.

Thank you to everyone who has ridden the service and supported it since it began operations on January 17, 2022.

Starting Monday, July 1, 2024, stickers featuring Mijumaru and the Mijumaru Train will be distributed to those who ride the Mijumaru Train inside the ticket gates at Kintetsu Toba Station, Ugata Station, and Kashikojima Station.
Be sure to pick one up as a memento of your ride on the Mijumaru Train!
*Stickers are limited to one per person and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
*Please refer to the photo at the bottom of the page for details on distribution locations.

We hope that you will continue to visit Mie Prefecture until the service ends, and enjoy the Mijumaru Train and the charm of Mie Prefecture.
