A pickle shop that preserves the taste of ``Ise takuan,'' which was very popular as a preserved food for the large number of pilgrims who came all the way to visit Ise during the Edo period. The founder, Denbei Iwao, used to make takuan while working as a farmer, and the company now sells seasonal fresh vegetables grown in the Ise plains as pickles.
