This tobacco shop inherited the name of a tobacco shop that existed in what is now saikuu (around the front of Miyagawa River) from the late Edo period to the Meiji period.
The approximately 20,000-square-meter store is lined with tobacco-related items, including wooden signs that were actually used at the time, smoking pipes, Ise netsuke, and cigarette cases made of fake leather paper, and attracts smokers who have lost their lives in recent years. The owner hopes that it will become a stylish place to play.
Additionally, the eaves of the entrance to Okageza have been extended to include a lottery ticket office.
