Akagimine Reifuzan Daiyoji Temple
This temple is said to be a sacred place where Cloistered Emperor Hanayama visited in 998. The principal image of the carved wooden Buddha, which is said to be the Buddha of seamount safety and bountiful catches, is said to have been created by Prince Shotoku, and its main body is Hokushin Myoken Bosatsu (Hokushin Myoken Bodhisattva), that is, the North Star and the Big Dipper, and is a symbol of the union of God and Buddha. It is a precious Gohonzon. It has been worshiped since ancient times as a sacred place that brings miraculous powers, such as maritime safety, the satisfaction of a big catch, family safety, and business prosperity. Founding year: 1605
