IseJingu Geku Akane Shrine, known affectionately as "Akonesan," is located by the Magatama Pond in Akane Shrine is one of the seven Yamada Sanzoku Shrines in the Yamada district of IseCity. Toyokawa Inari Shrine and Akane Ushi-Tenjin, the only one in IseCity, are enshrined within the shrine's precincts.

``Akone-san'' brings food and grain, ``Oinari-san'' brings prosperity in business, and ``Gyutenjin'' comes from Lord Michizane Sugawara and is said to bring blessings for academic success. The shrine also has a lion head (designated tangible cultural property of Mie Prefecture) as a sacred treasure, and is used every year during the Oto Shinto ritual.
