Tokanji Tokanji

IseJingu Geku Located not far from the Soji Temple, this temple of the Sojiji School of the Soto sect was founded in 1394.
It was renovated in 1765 to reach its current size, and has survived the anti-Buddhist movement of the beginning of the Meiji period to reach its present size.
It has a prefecture-designated tangible cultural property, ``Colored paper screen by Tohaku Hasegawa, Four Seasons and Landscapes,'' and ``Cloud Print.''
