A large holly tree near Fukujuji Temple.
The tree is about 8m tall, 30cm in diameter, and the first branch branches out at 2m30cm above the ground, and the branches are about 4m from east to west and 4m from north to south, making it a rare large tree for a holly.
Holly trees are characterized by the fact that as they grow older, their leaves gradually lose their thorns and their leaves become all green, but this holly has mostly all green leaves.
It was designated as a prefectural natural monument on July 9, 1943 (S18).
