Daiosaki Lighthouse is located in the southeastern part of Ise-Shima National Park and is famous for its sparkling white lighthouse and the town of Ishizaka. This lighthouse stands in Daiosaki, which is also famous as kachiji on the coastal terraces.
This lighthouse marks the border between the Kumano Sea and the Enshu Sea, and was built in 1928 as the most advanced lighthouse at the time. The general public can also climb to the top of the lighthouse and enjoy the view.
Although it cannot rise on windy days, it is known as a cape where you can see the Shima Peninsula, the Pacific Ocean, and distant islands such as Kamishima, and you can feel the roundness of the earth as ships coming from offshore appear from the tops of their masts.
