The Suzuka Mountains in KameyamaCity are a series of mountains with an altitude of 700 meters, such as Mt. Sengatake, and can offer many people the real pleasure of mountain climbing, such as magnificent views and a variety of mountain climbing routes. In order to pass on this precious resource to the next generation, we would like to honor the late Takashi Ozaki, a world-famous alpinist from KameyamaCity for his glorious accomplishment of successfully climbing seven of the world's 14 8,000m class peaks. Because climbing the Suzuka Mountains was the starting point of his mountain climbing career, especially the Sekisui Valley in KameyamaCity, the 700m-class mountains in KameyamaCity were designated as one of the 7 Kameyama Mountains.
