Oishi Park Koen
There is a large stone that you can look up at while sitting on the riverbed of the hot spring town upstream of the Mitaki River. This is ``Yunoyama Oishi'' and the entire area nearby is Oishi Park. This large stone is estimated to weigh 800 tons, and is said to be the largest stone lying in a river in Mie Prefecture.
As for an anecdote surrounding this stone, it is said that during the Genroku era, Kuranosuke Oishi stayed overnight at Yunoyama Onsen while killing Kira Kaminosuke, and it is said that Yunoyama Oishi in the hot spring town was a favorite place because it had the same name as his own. It is said that there was.
