Jizo crying at night
It is located at Magose-togePass Pass on the Kumano Kodo. Until the Meiji era, the small shrine was said to have housed a Jizo to pray for safe travels, and eventually became known as Yocuri Jizo by people who wished to stop their children from crying at night, and offerings are still made there today.
