Jinguji Jinguuji

The main hall of this temple, Mikura-do, was built in 1634 and is the oldest building in the city. The 36 poems in the main hall were written by Jinzaburo Tamaki, the Kaban magistrate of the Tsu domain, when he was young in the early Edo period. During the later restoration, Shikiyo Tanigawa wrote the waka poem part.
