転輪寺の柏野城跡

この他にも、伊賀地区には中世城館跡が500ヵ所以上あり、代表的なものに福地城跡や竹島城跡、壬生野城跡があります。天正9年(1581)9月27日、丹羽長秀、滝川益一ら12,000余りの織田軍が柘植口から攻め入り、柏野城には伊賀北東部の伊賀衆が立て籠って抗戦しましたが多勢に無勢でたちまちのうちに敗れました。
