Oyodogion Festival celebrates its 270th anniversary this year. The festival will be held in full for the first time in four years, including float parades and fireworks.

The Oyodo Gion Festival is a festival that has continued since the mid-Edo period in Oyodo Sansei Ko, Higashi Ward, and Yama Oyodo. This year, the festival will also see the return of Kaitotogyo, in which the floats are placed on two boats, and the ``Three Cars Stepping'', in which floats from the three districts of Sanseiko, Higashi Ward, and Yamadaiyodo come together.
