Autumn leaves in Mizusawa's Maple Valley (YokkaichiCity)

Autumn leaves in Mizusawa's Momiji Valley

It is a famous spot for autumn leaves that has been read by 100 people.
The maple leaves that dye the valley floor bright red and the colors of the surrounding mountains are also a must-see!

Autumn leaves in Kawachi Valley (TsuCity)

The illumination will run from Tuesday, November 5th to Sunday, December 1st, 2024!

A beautiful valley created by large, strangely shaped rocks and clear streams.
The maple leaves on both sides of the beautiful arched Oshida Bridge are turning red, and you can see the beauty of the valley with the clear, clear stream flowing through it.

Autumn leaves of Mt.Gozaisho (KomonoTown)

The characteristic feature of the autumn leaves of Mt.Gozaisho is that they change color slowly from the top of the mountain to the middle of the mountain and the foot of the mountain!
Therefore, you can enjoy different autumn leaves every time you visit.
If you ride the ropeway, you can see the beautiful scenery colored with autumn leaves from the air.

Maple leaves in Nabananosato Sato (KuwanaCity)

There are over 300 maple trees in the village. It is the most beautiful time of the year when you can feel Nabananosato Autumn. It is also lit up at night.
One of the most popular spots is Kagami Pond, where the maple leaves are reflected beautifully on the water surface. Be sure to take a look at this beautiful sight that was ranked 9th in TripAdvisor's ``I'm glad I went! Fall Foliage Spots Ranking 2016''♪

Autumn leaves at Mt. Tenkaisan Taiunji Temple (MatsusakaCity)

The best time to see them is usually from around late November, and the grounds are covered in lots of autumn leaves, creating a wonderful atmosphere around the rest area with a good view.
During peak hours, the City Road Kouchou Line, which connects National Route 166 to the Taiunji Temple precincts, can be crowded, and some pilgrims enjoy walking for about 30 minutes while visiting the 33 Kannon statues dotted along the roadside.

Mt. Narutani Maple leaves at Shohoji Temple (InabeCity)

An ancient temple that is said to have been founded by Saicho, which sits quietly in the heart of Mt. Fujiwara. From the temple grounds to the mountain behind the temple, maple trees are all over the place in a colorful display. An ``upside-down maple'' is reflected in the mirror pond in the shrine grounds.

Moroto Garden Autumn Public Opening (KuwanaCity)

The Moroto Garden, which was called ``E no Okuden'' during the Muromachi period and is said to have already had a residence and garden, was built as a retirement retreat for the wealthy merchant Yamada Hikozaemon during the Edo period. The main residence, daimon, palace, and ballpark have been designated as important national cultural properties, and the garden has been designated as a national scenic spot. The Moroto Garden will be open to the public in autumn.

Autumn leaves at the Kitabatake clan mansion garden (TsuCity)

This garden is located within the grounds of Kitabatake-JinjaShrine, whose main deity is Kitabatake Akiyoshi, a military commander from the Nanbokucho period.It is a nationally designated scenic spot and historic site.
Along with the autumn leaves, there are many other elegant sights to see, such as the dry landscape garden and the pond shaped like the character for rice. The garden makes skillful use of the natural terrain and is full of rustic charm, making it also known as a Muromachi garden. Don't miss the large ginkgo tree in the shrine grounds.

Autumn leaves decorate Shirafuji Falls in kachiji Takiyama Valley.
The Takiyama Valley Autumn Foliage Festival is held on November 3rd (holiday) every year, and the area is crowded with events and stalls set up against the backdrop of the waterfall.

Autumn leaves of KaochidaniValley (NabariCity)

Along the Shorenji River, a tributary of the Nabari River, KaochidaniValley is a roughly 8km stretch of rock with columnar joints that look like they were cut with an axe. Among them, the views of Tengu Pillar Rock and Byobu Rock are spectacular, and their majestic scenery allows you to enjoy the beauty of natural formations.
In autumn, the entire mountain is covered with KaochidaniValley leaves. It is kachiji perfect for hiking or driving while enjoying the scenery that stretches out in front of you.

Autumn leaves at TheAkame48Falls (NabariCity)

TheAkame48Falls, which boasts stunning natural scenery throughout the year, is even more special in the fall.
This valley stretches for 4km upstream of the Takigawa River, and you can enjoy the autumn leaves that decorate the waterfall. We also recommend hiking, which takes about an hour and a half each way. A light-up event will also be held.

TanemakiGonbei-no-Sato (KihokuTown)

The facility is named after the folk song ``Tanemaki Gonbe'' that has been passed down in KihokuTown, and there is a magnificent Japanese garden in the style of a stroll around a rocky mountain forest where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll.
Near the bridge over the pond in the center of the park, the branches of autumn leaves form a tunnel, making it a popular photo spot known as the ``Tunnel of Autumn Leaves.''

Autumn leaves at IseJingu [IseJingu Naiku] (IseCity)

At Naiku Mitaraiba, the clear flow of the Isuzu River reflects the red and yellow trees like a mirror, making you feel the depth of autumn. The autumn leaves seen from Kazahinomi-no-miya Bridge are also beautiful.

Autumn leaves in kahadavalley and Miyanotani Valley (MatsusakaCity)

Located at the headwaters of the Kushida River, it is a valley where nature remains as it is.
If you go further upstream along the valley, Lake Okuhakada and the Hasu River will appear.
There is also a spot for autumn leaves in Miyanotani Valley nearby, which is visited by many people who enjoy mountain climbing and walking.

Autumn leaves at Enkoji Temple in kawage Town (TsuCity)

If you go about 300 meters from Honshiroyama Youth Park, you will find Enkoji Temple, a quiet and quaint mountain temple. Said to have been founded in 1358 (early Muromachi period), this historic temple of the Tofukuji school of the Rinzai sect is surrounded by old trees and has a solemn atmosphere. Especially during the autumn foliage season, the sight of the autumn leaves towering over the Sanmon gate changing color all at once is truly a sight to behold.

Metasequoia at Ishigakiike Park (SuzukaCity)

Ishigaki Pond Park is a park with sports facilities such as a baseball field and track and field stadium, and there are rows of cherry blossom trees and metasequoia trees around Ishigaki Pond on the west side of the park. In November, the rows of Metasequoia trees turn red, creating a beautiful scenery.

Autumn leaves of Dodan Tsutsuji in Maruyama Park

The Dodan Azalea Tunnel, which is known only to those in the know, has become a hot topic as it is called ``Totoro's Forest'' by the locals, and since then it has been covered many times in the prefecture's media, and now it is so busy that there are lines of traffic during the fall foliage season. It is a spot where you can see the autumn leaves.
