TobaAquarium x Bonobono Summer Festival is being held until August 31st!

TobaAquarium will soon celebrate its 40th anniversary of breeding sea otters! Speaking of sea otters, Bonobono!
At TobaAquarium, various events are being held as part of the commemorative project "Otter Lab SPECIAL YEAR" in collaboration with the popular character Bonobono.
As the first event, we are holding the "Bonobono and Fushigi na Yume Summer Festival" this summer!
I went to TobaAquarium 's summer festival with my family over the three-day weekend before summer vacation.
Lined with lanterns and food stalls...an extraordinary summer festival from the world of "Bonobono"!
The summer festival venue is the special exhibition room on the third floor. Full of summer festival atmosphere!
In the center, Bonobono plays the drum, and his friends set up fun food stalls. It's completely different from the usual summer festival stalls, and all of the stalls have real creatures!
My children seemed to be having a lot of fun, saying things like, ``This is what the sea urchin in the sea urchin rice looks like?'' and ``The octopus in the takoyaki is a different color than I expected!''
Mikio Igarashi has turned dugong Serena into a character!
Speaking of TobaAquarium, Serena the Dugong!
Mikio Igarashi turned Serena into a character in the world of Bonobono.
The product that Serena sells is also called "Serena's Green Juice." Serena's favorite food is eelgrass green juice. The price is 15 (dugong) yen per cup!
Each stall is full of fun tricks like this, so please take your time and look around!

The fireworks are also very beautiful!
At the back of the venue, children were enthusiastically touching firework balls, a symbol of the summer tradition of fireworks.
When you touch it, digital fireworks will go off!
At the end, large fireworks filled the night sky.
Of course, in the fireworks area, colorful and beautiful fish were displayed just like fireworks♪
I was glad that the aquarium was right in front of the children when they touched it.

I also got an "original tenugui (1,000 yen)" sold at the in-house shop "Plaza Shop"♪
It comes with a stamp book, so you can add original stamps to your summer festival memories! I would definitely like to get one as a souvenir of my visit. (The stamp book also included an application ticket to win original goods in a lottery)

The in-house restaurant "Bayside" is selling Bonobon's collaboration menu!
During the summer festival period, if you order a summer festival limited menu such as fried chicken or french fries, you will receive one of the original can badges (11 types in total) for each item.
My kids just wanted to eat fries, so we ordered limited menu items such as fried chicken and meat-wrapped rice ball sticks, and we also got 4 limited edition badges!
The fried chicken and french fries came in original cups and were cute.

The jugon omelet rice and udon that I ordered together were both cute and delicious!

The Bonobono Summer Festival event will be held until August 31, 2023 (Thursday)!
It was a very hot day, so hot that I was worried about heat stroke, but it was cool and comfortable inside the aquarium. Aquariums are the best way to go out in summer!
