Sekijuku is Tokaido the 47th inn town on the 53rd itinerary. It is a tourist attraction where the streets of Edo (old Tokyo) still remain, but tourists have not completely returned since the new coronavirus, and the streets tend to be less crowded on weekdays. Aizuya," which serves curry udon this time, is a building from the late Edo period and was originally an inn representing Sekijuku, but now operates as a long-established restaurant famous for its rice with edible wild plants and roadside soba noodles.

The product development challenge with the unique spice curry was said to have been difficult as the pot turned yellow and could no longer be used for anything other than curry rice, but the popular rice was sold as ``Curry Okowa'' at an event only the other day. The response has been very positive, and the company decided to develop this service in hopes of encouraging people to visit Sekijuku in August, when the number of customers tends to decrease slightly.

The sets are made with plenty of Aizuya tempura, Yokkaichi udon noodles, and local seasonal vegetables, and are priced at 1,500 yen for the white rice set and 1,700 yen for the curry rice set, and were originally scheduled to be available until the end of August. However, due to popular demand, they have decided to extend the offer!
