90 seconds walk from the sea. My favorite spot right now! I went to CO Blue Center
掲載日:2023.09.25
Kounohama, Shima ShimaCity Mie Prefecture, is visited by many surfers every year.
CO Blue Center has opened just a 90 second walk from there.
You can spend a relaxing and chill time at coffee stands, libraries, saunas, etc.
It is a complex facility that includes co-working spaces and offices for companies.
It felt like a small village and we had a very comfortable time there.
“I want to go, but what kind of place is it?”
I will answer those questions!
coffee stand
Waffles and homemade soy milk ice cream 450 yen (tax included).
The waffles are made with the popular egg- and milk-free donut dough, and are crispy on the outside and delicious!
Soy milk ice cream is also refreshing and easy to eat.
There were a lot of people who bought coffee after surfing or to accompany them while watching surfing.
Next time, I would like to grab a cup of coffee and go to Kokufu Beach, which is just a short walk away, and look out at the sea.
Please take a look and see how you can spend your time here!
Library
A library that can be accessed freely.
Books that match the concept of CO Blue Center are being picked up!
The shelf in the first photo (the one with the globe) is filled with books about the ocean, food, and environmental issues related to nature.
The shelf in the second photo is filled with books about social issues such as people's daily lives and culture.

KoushirahamaBeach
Kokufu Beach can be reached in about 2 minutes from CO Blue Center.
I saw many people in wet suits holding surfboards running towards the sea!
It felt like it was a part of life.
There were many surfers in the sea that day, so it was fun just looking at them and the sound of the waves was soothing.
And the beach is beautiful!
It seems that all the surfers in this town are doing activities such as picking up trash.
In the summer, there are beach huts and you can swim in the sea.
There are many parking lots nearby, but they all cost a flat rate of 1,500 yen (the same price is fixed in the Kokufu Beach area at a surf spot).
