The wind chime festival, which also prays for the eradication of the coronavirus, has become a summer tradition in Iga Ueno, and has become a popular scenic spot that attracts many tourists from outside the prefecture.

This year, the event will start on July 25th (Tuesday) and run until September 30th (Saturday).

The flyer for the wind chime festival states that it is open every day from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but you can visit the shrine at any time and even enjoy it in the evening when it's cool.

The 1,700 wind chimes are impressive! Clear origami cranes, ones with colorful strips of paper, and wind chimes with various patterns are displayed, and when the wind blows, you can enjoy the pleasant harmony of sounds♪
