At [Kitakoyama Hanakaido] in geinocho, Geino-cho, Tsu TsuCity, you can enjoy many red spider lilies along the road and on the right bank of the Anogawa River.

On the right bank of the Anogawa River, approximately 300 cherry blossom trees stretch for approximately 1km downstream from Kitakamiyama Bridge, and many red spider lilies bloom along the riverbed and roads.

It seems that red spider lilies originally grew wild on the embankment, but they have planted new bulbs and are now blooming all over the place.

Flowering usually begins in mid-September, and the best time to see them is around the end of the month.

The color gradually fades from fiery red, so it is recommended to aim for it when it begins to bloom!

There are also blocks that you can sit on in some places, so you can enjoy it while taking a break.

It blooms widely near the bridge and in the back, creating a bright red carpet. Why not take a leisurely walk and admire it?

What kind of flower is spider lily?

Higanbana is a flower that blooms around the autumn equinox (mid-September), and is also called Manjushage or Licorice. Branches Leaves Flower stalks with no nodes protrude above the ground, and each stalk has 5 to 7 red flowers spread out in a ring.
