Sunflowers, cosmos, buckwheat flowers, and various other autumn flowers are in full bloom, but did you know that InabeCity also has a dahlia garden?

Kimoto Co., Ltd. in Kyogeno Shinden, Hokusei Town grows dahlias in the field in front of the factory, and with the hope that the local community will enjoy the dahlias this year as well, they will be open to the public for free until the end of October. I did it!

In 2023, the fifth year, 3,300 dahlias of 70 different varieties will be in full bloom, and the aisles have been widened to make it easier for wheelchairs and strollers to pass through.

We hope everyone will enjoy the dahlia garden that our employees have painstakingly cultivated in the intense heat.

``Kimoto Co., Ltd.'' started growing rice using local fallow fields as a corporate community and social contribution project, and ``Is there anything else we can do for the community?'' 5 years ago. We started a dahlia garden using the field in front of the third factory.

Apparently, dahlias were chosen because they are resistant to damage from animals, and now local residents are also joining the ``Dahlia Association'' and helping with weeding and picking flowers, and employees and the local community are working together to plant large dahlias. I manage the garden.

With Mt. Fujiwara in the background, there are two seats and observation decks where you can see a variety of colorful dahlias.

Each dahlia is different, so please find your favorite dahlia!

At KIMOTO Dahlia Garden, 3,300 dahlias of 70 different species were planted this year.

Dahlias are native to the highlands of Mexico and are sensitive to heat.

As a result, the plants are a little shorter this year due to the intense heat, but by weeding and picking off the dead flower petals one by one, you can enjoy the new flowers for a long time.

You can see the beautiful dahlias that have been accumulated over the years for free.

(There are no trash cans. Please be sure to take your trash home with you. Please be polite and enjoy the dahlias together.)

The latest information and closing dates will be announced as soon as they are decided.

In InabeCity, you can see all kinds of autumn flowers this time of year, including sunflowers, red spider lilies, buckwheat flowers, cosmos, and the dahlias we'll be introducing this time.
InabeCity has a rural landscape of mountains, rivers, and satoyama, and is also home to many civic activities such as the local Satoyama Preservation Association, as well as corporate social contributions.
Fujiwara Satoyama Club supports these steady activities through photographs.

We hope that everyone will enjoy Inabe's autumn flower tour.
