The ``Reitaisai Yokkaichi Festival'' is an annual festival at Suwa Shrine that has been passed down since the early Edo period.

It is a traditional autumn festival in YokkaichiCity, inheriting traditional culture such as karakuri floats, feudal lord parades, dancing lions, and portable shrines.

In this topic, we will introduce in detail the locations and access to the Reitaisai and Yokkaichi Festivals.

The Autumn Yokkaichi Festival is held for two days: September 30th (Saturday) and October 1st (Sunday).

At the regular festival Yokkaichi Festival, there are 9 events such as whale boats, mikoshi, and daimyo parades to Suwa Shrine, parades held in shopping streets, and other fun events such as festival booths and food trucks. The area around Suwa Shrine will be filled with lively mood for two days, October 30th (Sat) and October 1st (Sun).
