Shima Kanko Hotel Autumn Afternoon Tea & Limited Mont Blanc Parfait

掲載日:2023.10.11

I went to Shima Kanko Hotel's autumn afternoon tea (until November 30th)! Speaking of Shima Kanko Hotel, it is the venue for the 2016 IseShimaSummit and the 2023 G7 Ise-Shima Transport Ministers' Meeting. It is a dream hotel for Mie Prefecture residents who want to stay at least once in their life. What kind of afternoon tea is served at such a resort hotel that Japan is so proud of? It was truly a blissful moment for adults in pursuit of luxury and elegance.

To the cafe & wine bar “Lian”

"Lian", where you can enjoy seasonal afternoon tea, is a cafe and wine bar overlooking the garden of Shima Kanko Hotel The Club.

This is where the leaders had a working lunch during IseShimaSummit. The large beams and atrium space are impressive, and vestiges of the time when it opened 70 years ago remain.

The building you can see in the back of the second photo is The Club.

This tea stand made from Mie wood is a treasure trove of autumn flavors!

The autumn afternoon tea menu features a variety of sweets made with autumn ingredients, such as Mont Blanc, muscat tarts, fig macarons, chestnut truffle chocolate, and persimmon and grape jelly.

This tea stand was made from wood from Mie to commemorate the 70th anniversary of its opening, and the design is said to express gratitude for being able to serve food right at the doorstep of IseJingu.

The upper handle depicts the beautiful morning sun rising from the torii gate of IseJingu 's UjibashiBridge.

By the way, this Mont Blanc is definitely worth going to eat! It was the most delicious Mont Blanc I've ever eaten.

Price: 5,200 yen (tax included)

For the savory menu, there are dishes using Mie's delicacies such as Matsusaka beef and abalone...!

As you would expect from Shima Kanko Hotel, the carefully selected savory menu has a menu that evokes the feeling of autumn.

Caviar and cauliflower mousse, tart-style KumanoJidori(TheLocalBrandChicken) rillettes, Matsusaka beef and Ise hijiki rice sandwich, abalone and autumn vegetable croquettes, etc., are all so delicious that I'm speechless.

A delicate taste that highlights the quality of the ingredients.

And above all, it's beautiful. I wonder how much work goes into each one...

I thought the maple leaf on top was just a decoration, but it turned out to be "momiji tempura" (lol)

* By the way, savory means salty food. "SuiA meal-based menu that is not a snack.” It means.

Free refills of drinks from our top-of-the-line collection!

There were so many different types of drinks that I was confused,

This time, we will introduce New Zealand Oolong, which is said to go well with savory dishes, Apple Crumble, which is recommended to go well with sweets, Ise Honkancha, which is perfect for Dorayaki, a Japanese sweet made by Chef Higuchi, and finally, I had a fluffy cafe latte.

Highly recommended not only for tea but also for coffee lovers! I'm a tea person, but this coffee was so delicious that I couldn't help but cry.

"Mont Blanc Parfait" limited to 10 meals a day!

The autumn-only “Mont Blanc Parfait” will also be available at this Cafe & Wine Bar Lian until November 30th.

The parfait with a large crescent moon on top of a Mont Blanc is fashionable and has an outstanding presence.

A luxurious parfait for adults where you can enjoy a variety of textures and flavors such as hazelnut cream, candied chestnuts, Mont Blanc cream, vanilla and chocolate ice cream, crushed nuts, pie, and coffee jelly.

There is no doubt that you will be happy if you eat it, so please try it when you go to Lian.

Limited to 10 meals a day!(Reservations cannot be made. Reservations will end as soon as the day's supply runs out.)

Price: 2,300 yen (tax included)
