The 2023 autumn leaves season is almost here! You can enjoy the autumn leaves of Mt.Gozaisho over a wide area from the mountaintop to the hot spring town. Ichinotani Sanso is located at the trailhead of Mt.Gozaisho. At Ichinodani Sanso, you can stay overnight and enjoy the sauna. We will introduce how to enjoy Mt.Gozaisho and Ichinotani Sanso during the autumn leaves season.

・Round-trip climbing time

Takehira Pass Course: Approximately 3 hours

Nakamichi course: about 5 and a half hours

Takehira Pass Course: Get off at the Shin-Meishin Expressway Komono IC, follow Prefectural Route 577 for about 40 minutes, and you will see a parking lot in front of the Takehira Tunnel. Approximately 20 parking spaces available

Nakamichi Course: Get off at the Shin-Meishin Expressway Komono IC, follow Prefectural Route 577 for about 30 minutes, and you will see a parking lot on your left. Approximately 50 parking spaces available

*During the fall foliage season, the parking lot will be full by 8 o'clock.

You can also enjoy the rental tent sauna! Ichinotani Sanso

Ichinodani Sanso is a mountain hut located near the trailhead of the Nakamichi mountain trail of Mt.Gozaisho, and was recently renovated in May 2023. You can stay overnight, rent a tent sauna, and enjoy BBQ here.

Access by public transportation
Take the Kintetsu Yunoyama Line and get off at Yunoyama Onsen Station. Transfer to the bus and get off at "Yunoyama Onsen/Gozaisho Ropeway-mae". 40 minutes walk from there. Or take a taxi.
Access by car
Approximately 15 minutes from the Komono IC exit of the Shin-Meishin Expressway
