What is the Sunday theater “Gekokujo Kyuji”?

The book ``Descent of Baseball Players: Mie Prefectural Hakusan High School's Miracle to Koshien'' (Kanzen) is a non-fiction book that chronicles the footsteps of Hakusan High School, which was a weak elementary school that lost in the first round of the prefectural tournament for 10 consecutive years, but participated in Koshien for the first time in the summer of 2018. is the original draft.

The drama is a work of fiction inspired by the book, and is an original story that is different from the book version.

The main character, Nagumo, an advisor to Koshiyama High School's baseball team, will be played by Ryohei Suzuki, who will be starring in a Sunday theater for the second time in about two years since ``TOKYO MER~Running Emergency Room~''. Haru Kuroki plays Yamazumi, the baseball-loving manager of a former baseball powerhouse school. Also appearing are Haruka Igawa, Katsuhisa Namase, Rio Asumi, Mizuki Yamashita (Nogizaka46), and Kyon (Cotton).

Speaking of ``Gekokokujo Kyuji'', one of the highlights is the baseball play scenes, so much so that in order to pursue realism, a practical skill test was conducted to select the players for the roles of the club members. Kasumigaura Baseball Stadium in YokkaichiCity Mie Prefecture was used as a filming location for some game scenes in the movie.


KasumigauraPark, where the baseball stadium is located, is one of the spots where you can see the Yokkaichi Complex Factory Night View, which is becoming more and more well-known even among people outside the prefecture!
