Every fall, I often see posts about the "Komogaku Festival" on social media. ``Is Komogaku a marche?'' ``There's some delicious food here, but where can I eat it?'' ``Is only KomonoTown people allowed to go there?'' We'll answer your questions.

What is “Komogaku Festival”?

What kind of event is the "Komogaku Festival" that will be held on October 28th (Sat) and 29th (Sun)? It consists of four main events.

・Komogakujuku is an experiential learning place where townspeople act as teachers and hold workshops, classes, exhibitions, and sales.

・“Komogaku Tour” where you can visit and observe manufacturing sites that you would not normally step foot in.

・ KomonoTown, and listen to, see, learn about, and taste the voices of producers.

・"Talk event" where we welcome a variety of guests from various fields and discuss town development, the region, and Komono from various perspectives.

will be opened. Komo Gaku Juku, Komo Gaku Shokudo, and talk events will all be held at the KomonoTown Sports Center (KomonoTown). Komogaku tours are held at each business office and factory, and buses are also available.

This is an event that will give you an opportunity to discover the true charm of Komono. KomonoTown, other people, and people from outside the prefecture are all welcome!

What is “Komogaku Juku”?

All the townspeople will act as teachers and hold workshops, classes, exhibitions, and sales at the venue. You can experience and learn a variety of things, such as hand-weaving using a tabletop loom, displaying hunting goods by the hunting club, mixing personal aromas, screen printing T-shirts, and group planting.

What is “Komogaku Tour”?

"Komogaku Tour" to learn about manufacturing in KomonoTown. There are open fields and open factories. Visit manufacturing sites that you would normally not be able to step into, see, hear, touch, and feel the commitment.

``Open Field'' includes explanations of natural gardens where you can enjoy weeds, and ``Open Factory'' includes opportunities to learn about the manufacturing process of pottery and to see examples of how robots are used at an automobile parts manufacturing factory.

Furthermore, on the day of the Komogaku Festival, a free bus will be running around the open factory. Recommended for those who are having trouble such as "I want to go but don't have the legs!" or "I don't know where to go!" Free ride.

What is “Komogaku Shokudo”?

At the farmers' market, you can find a variety of delicious local foods centered around restaurants that are active in KomonoTown, as well as hear, see, learn, and taste first-hand feedback from producers. There will be shops offering delicious local food such as fresh vegetables, croquettes, curry, and baked goods. It's two days where you can enjoy food.
