Around Tamon Yagura, the former Kameyama Castle in KameyamaCity, you can enjoy cherry blossoms in the spring and ginkgo leaves in the fall.
In this topic, Mie Travel Ambassador Chii will introduce the autumn leaves along with the photos she has taken over the years.
What is Old Kameyama Castle Tamon Yagura?
It is located on top of a high stone wall called the castle tower, and is said to have been built around 1632.
It is designated as a prefectural historic site as the only existing castle structure in Mie Prefecture, and after undergoing the ``Heisei Major Repairs'' that began in August 2011 and lasted approximately one and a half years, it was restored to its appearance in the late Edo period.
The building is made of white stucco with fire prevention in mind, and is characterized by its Nagaya style (Tamon/Tamon = Nagaya style).

How was it?
This time we introduced the autumn leaves of the former Kameyama Castle Tamon Yagura◎
It is a spot that photographers visit every year as the ginkgo trees grow tall and colorful. This year, there are some places where the flowers have started to fall before they change color, so we recommend that you go to see them when they start to change color.
