December marks the end of the year, and at some temples and shrines in Mie Prefecture, you can receive a Goshuin stamp with a December-only design as proof of your visit.
The goshuin stamps available only in December come in designs that bring a touch of glamor to the cold season, such as snowflakes, poinsettias, and yuzu fruits.
Let's go on an ``thanei-mairi'' (end-of-year visit) to express our gratitude for the successful passage of this year, and receive a stamp as proof of that.
