In Misugi Town, TsuCity, Mie Prefecture, the forest fairy "Mitsumata Flower" has begun to bloom, heralding the arrival of spring.
The fantastic golden carpet “Mitsumata Flowers” that spreads out in the forest is truly a spectacular sight♪
The area where they grow in clusters is approximately 1.5 ha (15,000 m2). From mid-March to mid-April, yellow flowers bloom at the tips of the branches, and the entire mountain is covered with Mitsumata flowers. The view of Mitsumata blooming on the slope overlooking from the observation deck is also spectacular.

◆What is Mitsumata?
Mitsumata is a deciduous shrub whose bark is known as a raw material for Japanese paper. The tip of the branch is divided into three parts, and yellow flowers bloom at the end.
