Hanashinsui, a Japanese-style inn located near the Ijika fishing port TobaCity, where the fishing industry is thriving, is an inn that boasts a wide variety of seafood dishes unique to a fishing town. There are many foods unique to winter, such as spiny lobster and oysters, but one that is especially recommended this winter is filefish, a white-fleshed fish with a rich flavor. Also, keep an eye out for the hotpot dish made with spiny lobster soup stock, which took a year to develop.

In order to explore the appeal of these dishes, Mie Travel Ambassador Mio Ieda has published a report article summarizing her impressions after visiting and eating the food.

The menu is filled with local ingredients and seasonal flavors, including sea foie gras "Filefish", steamed oysters and fried oysters from Uramura, and hot pot dishes made with rich soup stock made from the heads and shells of spiny lobsters! Check out the 👇 report article for more details!

The filefish sashimi, which is eaten by diluting the liver, which gets fatter and thicker as it gets colder, in ponzu soy sauce, is exquisite!
The melt-in-your-mouth flavor of the fat, combined with the light but chewy white meat, creates an outstanding taste.
Be sure to try the in-season filefish at Basshinbu!
