As the temperature rises over the past few days, cherry blossoms in Mie Prefecture are at their peak blooming!
According to the Japan Weather Association, cherry blossoms (Somei Yoshino) are expected to be in full bloom in TsuCity on March 27, 2023.
While we're a little concerned about the weather, we'd like to introduce some famous cherry blossom viewing spots that will be at their peak from this weekend to early next week.

Miyagawa Tsutsumi is a row of cherry blossom trees in full bloom stretching for about 1km along the Miyagawa River that flows through IseCity.
The sight of the beautiful cherry blossoms blooming along the river lit up is very romantic♪
The cherry blossoms will be illuminated from Saturday, March 25th to Sunday, April 9th.

Onigajo cherry blossom path (KumanoCity)
Currently blooming for 6 minutes (as of March 24th)
The approximately 2,000 cherry blossoms blooming along the promenade leading from Onigajo parking lot to Matsumoto Pass, a tourist attraction located close to Odomari IC in KumanoCity are a sight to behold!
