We have decided to open the park on Saturday, February 17th in 2024!
You can enjoy around 200 famous plum trees all in one place, mainly the Kureha Shidare, which is a typical double-flowered variety. The plum garden is full of things to see, including the ``Gofuku Weeping'' tree, which is over 100 years old and is thought to be the oldest in Japan.
In 2024, you will be able to enjoy plum blossoms until around the end of March.
The sight of plum blossoms hand-crafted by craftsmen, weeping in their large, beautiful, and glossy form, is a sight to behold!

This is the only place where you can see weeping plum blossoms in full bloom with the Suzuka foothills as a backdrop!
The Suzuka Forest Garden, managed by the Akatsuka Botanical Garden, aims to preserve and spread the technique of making weeping plums, which is one of Japan's traditional gardening culture, and focuses on the double-flowering variety of weeping plums, ``Kurehashidare.'' We are working on research cultivation.
This is a plum garden where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Japan in early spring, the weeping plum tree with its large pink flowers created by the skill of Japanese craftsmen.
