Reiwa 6th plum garden date decided! The Plum Festival at Yuki Shrine in Mie Prefecture and the teahouse will also reopen this year.

Yuki Shrine in Tsu TsuCity, Mie Prefecture is loved by people as a plum blossom spot where you can admire plum blossoms, mainly around 300 weeping plum trees.

The 2024 plum garden will be held from Saturday, February 10th to mid-March (scheduled), and the Yuki Shrine Plum Festival will be held.
It is predicted that the best time to see the plum blossoms will be from mid-February to late February, after which you will be able to enjoy the ``carpet of plum blossoms'' with scattered petals all over the place.

This year, Chobaitei (chaya) will resume serving food and selling souvenirs, making the plum festival even more lively!
Please be fascinated by the plum blossoms that bloom like a chandelier and the scent of plums that spreads throughout the garden.

2024 Yuki Shrine Plum Festival

Plum garden period: Scheduled from Saturday, February 10, 2024 to mid-March

Admission fee: Adults: 800 yen, Children: 400 yen (discounts available for groups of 20 or more)

Access Train: Get off at JR Tsu Station/Kintetsu Tsu Station
Bus: Approximately 20 minutes by bus from bus stop 2 at the east exit of Tsu Station and get off at Yuki Shrine-mae
Private car: Via Ise Expressway "Tsu IC", via Phoenix Street, to Yuki Shrine

Parking lot: Approximately 200 spaces (free)

Highlights
Approximately 300 weeping plum trees and 80 plum trees of 10 different types are planted in the shrine grounds. Weeping plums are planted at close intervals, so the trees are close together, the flowers are dense, and you can enjoy the contrast of colors. Also, the sight of a white-eye perched on a plum branch is popular as a cute subject.
