Mt.Gozaisho is also known as Mie Prefecture's inner parlor. There are ways to play and enjoy each season, but this time we will introduce how to play and enjoy winter.
Gozaisho Ski Resort, the only ski resort in Mie Prefecture, is divided into three areas: a skiing area, a sledding area that families can enjoy, and an area for snowshoeing around Yamagami Park. In each area, you can play and have fun while looking at the overwhelming view. You can also experience the ``icefall'' and ``frozen trees'' that can only be seen in winter!
There is also a restaurant where you can enjoy a meal while looking out at the spectacular view, which will warm up your tired body after playing. I would like to introduce Mt.Gozaisho can be enjoyed by everyone, young and old.
A ski slope that even small children will be happy with will welcome them!
Gozaisho Ski Resort, located on the top of the mountain, is divided into a ski area and a sledding slope, so even small children can enjoy winter fun safely and securely. In particular, at the ``sledding slope'' you can play while enjoying a spectacular view of the cities of KomonoTown and YokkaichiCity, as well as Ise Bay and the Chita Peninsula in the distance. Therefore, the exhilarating feeling you can experience is unmatched!
On weekends, street performances and other events are held in the plaza inside the ski slopes, so many people come from inside and outside the prefecture to enjoy this ski resort, which adults can also enjoy.
The icefall, the frost-covered trees, and the scenery are overwhelming.
The view from Mt.Gozaisho and the Gozaisho Ski Resort at the top of the mountain is always astounding.
Especially from the snowshoeing course, you can see Lake Biwa to the north, the Kii Mountains and Suzuka Mountains to the west and south, and the Southern Alps to the east. On a clear winter day, you can even see Mt. Fuji.
Furthermore, the natural scenery of Mt.Gozaisho 's winter features, ``ice falls'' and ``frozen trees,'' creates a fantastic atmosphere that cannot be seen anywhere else. In fact, you can see such scenery for free!
