Kofune Bairin, located in Kiwa-cho, Kumano KumanoCity, is a plum grove located at the prefectural border of Mie and Wakayama prefectures, where the Kitayama River and the Kumano River converge.
This is a famous plum blossom spot in the southernmost part of Mie Prefecture where you can enjoy around 700 plum blossoms.
In 2024, plum blossoms will bloom two weeks earlier than usual, reaching their peak as of February 13th, and the plum blossoms are expected to be enjoyed until late February.
Enjoy the scent of plum blossoms and the view of the quaint white plum blossoms along the river at Kofune Plum Garden.
