Luxury mother-daughter trip at “Kashijima Hoshoen”! We have published a report article that introduces the finest Japanese kaiseki cuisine of Ise shrimp, Matsusaka beef, and abalone, as well as our newly renovated and newly opened rooms!

At Kashiwajima Hoshoen, last year (April 2023), the 9th floor of the Kayo building was renovated as a special floor called ``Suikei''.

In April of this year, the 8th floor will also be reopened as the same type of rooms.

Prior to that, this time we stayed in a Japanese-style room with a bed on the 9th floor.

There are also pure Japanese-style rooms available.

My mother and I were impressed by this wonderful room with a view of Ago Bay!

There are beautiful flowers arranged in each room, which is wonderful♪

This room is designed for in-room dining, and the dining space also has a low table and chairs.

There were many requests for chairs to be more comfortable than sitting in a tatami room, and this was met with the renewal.

Bed-type rooms are popular among seniors and guests from overseas.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who would like to stay at a Japanese inn rather than a hotel, but would rather sleep on a bed!

*Since the capacity is 2 people and children cannot sleep together, this is a comfortable room where only adults can stay.

Dinner is served in your room with an original menu for the special floor "Suikei".

This is a luxurious Japanese kaiseki meal where you can enjoy Mie's cuisine such as spiny lobster, Matsusaka beef, and abalone all at once.

The container that resembles a palette is wonderful. Assorted pallets is full of color AppetizerAssortment of three types of sake appetizers, Ise lobster sashimietc. are lined up.

Sashimi is a must when traveling to Ise-Shima, but I was really happy that I was able to get Ise lobster as well!

The Matsusaka beef loin shabu-shabuwas so tender and melt-in-your-mouth that I was impressed.

We also have exquisite French dishes such as steamed abalone bon femme! I was pleasantly surprised as I thought it was only Japanese food.

In addition, the jelly and desserts were all delicate, careful, and heartfelt dishes that made us feel happy.

The beautifully arranged kaiseki box included fish such as mirin-dried yellowtail, dried kamasu, and sashimi of tuna, which was very delicious!

Beautiful Japanese set meals that are perfect for breakfast include dashimaki tamago, green lettuce hanpen, kelp tsukudani, simmered vegetables, and salad.

The warm boiled tofu was soothing, and the honey drizzled on the yogurt was sweet and delicious.

I had a filling breakfast and was really satisfied.
