The Usuzumi-zakura in the Takehara district of Misugi-cho, TsuCity is a single cherry tree that was separated from the nationally famous Usuzumi-zakura in Neo, Gifu Prefecture, and planted by the owner of the land. The Japanese name for Usuzumi-zakura is Edohigan. When the pink buds bloom, they turn a deep pink color, gradually turning into whitish petals, and by the time they fall, they turn pale black, which is why it is said to have gotten its name, light ink cherry blossom.
Takehara's Light Blue Cherry Blossoms are located on private land, so please respect the manners when viewing them, including parking and visiting hours.

A 400-year-old cherry tree located within the grounds of Harutokuji Temple. With a tree height and branch length of approximately 10m, and a trunk circumference of approximately 4m, the magnificent Edohigan cherry tree is commonly known as ``Higanzakura'' and blooms from late March to early April every year.
Under the cherry blossoms, stone Buddha statues of various sizes are lined up and are designated as a natural monument by the city.

A 3m tall shrub cherry tree planted in the front garden of the main hall of TsuCity Temple. It is a rare species that flowers and leaves appear at the same time, and usually blooms in late April every year, after the Someiyoshino cherry tree and wild cherry blossom season.
Chotoku-ji Temple is also called ``Ryuo-ji Temple,'' and the name comes from the legend that the dragon king who lived in the deep water in front of the temple gave cherry blossom seeds and dragon scales to the priest and taught him how to pray for rain against dry skies. It is also designated as a natural monument of the prefecture.
